I did not anticipate Linderbaum signing with the Raiders. No matter how good the money was.

Because he would have received Stupid Money no matter WHERE he signed... but he signed with a Bottom Floor team, as evidenced by the #1 overall pick that the Raiders hold and so richly deserve in the aftermath of their abysmal 2025 season.

How much less-- if any-- would Linderbaum have received, had he signed with the next highest bidder? Or signed with ANY top tier team with legit title aspirations?

NV is also a no income tax state. you can say that doesnt matter, you aren't getting a lump sum check of tens of millions. CA is high tax.

I wanted Linderbaum badly, and was disappointed when we got Biadasz and took ourselves out of the running. Now I know why. That contract is utterly ridiculous. Nice work, Hortiz.

My original prediction was forget Linderbaum because we could get 3 quality IOL for what he would cost.

Last year was a lesson that you need depth as well as quality. Our depth was absolute garbage. Look at all the OL injuries across the league last year.
