There are two TEs ahead of Keenan as well that he wont catch, so he will be #3 WR, and Kelce is ahead of him right now by 25 receptions and still playing this year so Keenan could end up #5 or #6 all time after this season. Dont know if he will get another.

Keenan will be annoying enough on short passes that I cut Josh Downs from my bench lolOriginally posted by Boltjolt View Post

From Chief's planet (where I am a member
)
Steve Smith recently visited Chiefs camp and shared some opinions on our WR room:
-He's not confident in Rice’s knee, nor Rice's potential to be a top 10 WR.
-Not confident in Worthy’s shoulder either, thinks he’s all speed, needs to add some routes to his tree and can’t break press coverage.
-Thornton has potential, is not a physical WR, seemingly implies he’s lucky Andy see’s something in him or he wouldn’t have a job.
-Allen reminds Steve of himself, will eventually be our #1, is a great fit for Pat.
-Royals was a baller in college, is too casual and low energy, needs to wake up or he’s not long for the league.
-Caldwell can’t read the ball in the air, won’t be playing WR this year.
-Brownly has shown some good reps.
-Holiday might get some playing time.
-Tyreek returning would be a good story.
-Co-host James Palmer believes Veach makes a trade at the deadline.

Well played, good sir. I think he needs around 50 RECs to vault up to #3. I'm a bigger Keenan fan and have a greater appreciation of what he can contribute than I sense this forum has. Thats ok I guess.Originally posted by ChargingBolts View PostThe haters who crap on Keenan don't understand, even with all his injuries 3rd and Keenan (and 4th and Keenan) was the fastest ever to 1000 receptions in NFL history! Now about to become #3 all time in NFL history behind only Rice and Fitzgerald. Legendary.
Also all the people who crap on Herbert for not accomplishing anything my reply is breaking Peyton Mannings NFL record to be the #1 all time QB for most passing yards in first 2 seasons, first 3 seasons, first 4 seasons, first 5 seasons. These casuals have no clue.Justin Herbert 2026 MVP Watch

I don't like the Chiefs WR room much at all...except they stole a future stud in round 5 with Cyrus Allen. Might even be a big factor this year, has been the big star of Chiefs camp. Just gets open and makes plays.Originally posted by powderblueboy View PostFrom Chief's planet (where I am a member

Maybe its just by comparison, where the Chiefs receiving corp is pathetic and their dbs are simply bad.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post

I saw one clip with Allen burning Noah Williams, who looked good against all the other flopsam and jepsum that Veach has collected over there.
At the bottom of things, Cyrus Allen is small, frail (5'11''/180 pounds) with average long speed (a 4.5 fourty).
He might turn into a pro bowler, but those types are going to need some time to learn the ins and outs of the NFL.
The rest of the receiving corp, along with Mr. not too Swift and that tight end room, is worse than pathetic, its an embarrassment to the league.
By far the worse receiving room in the AFC west, and I would be hard pressed to find one more abysmal.

His measurables are why he went in the 5th round but he had 13 TDs last year in college and was great at the Senior Bowl. Sometimes an outlier comes along that can just play ball. Allen runs great routes and get open constantly. He is being compared to Stefan Diggs. Allen might already be the best all around WR there. Mahomes has a rapport with him and he is getting alot of first team reps.Originally posted by powderblueboy View Post

TPB gets very excited about Charger mid late round picks but the Chargers are not the only team in the NFL that can find later round gems.
The Raiders WRs are worse with Nailor, Bech, Taylor as the top 3.
There are lots of practice highlights of Allen. Here is one from yesterday of Allen and 6th overall pick Mansor Delane.

Do you think that Cyrus Allen is a bigger talent with better potential than our own KLS? On paper, I think that they may be on par but with KLS already being a sophomore expected to see more action, KLS also has slightly higher scores on physical attributes. Bother round 5 picks, whereas Allen was projected to go a bit higher so we shall see.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
