The Chargers have a good mix of young talent and proven vets in every position group except WR and RB. KA provided that to the WR's. Hope we don't miss him

Thats not a good reciving corps there. Didnt realize it was weak. Of course with Pierce injured it wasnt good and Keenan helps them there. Downs is always banged up as well and has a sore groin right now.
Surprised Treadwell is still in the league. He has been a bust.

On the bright side, the Colts have Easton Stick to throw to those weak wideouts to get them up to speed...

I think its a good fit for Allen for two reasons
1) the Colts without Pierce could use him

2) he is not on the Chargers. Last year, he worked well with the Mike Williams situation. This year is different

The Chargers are moving the offense forward and he would be wasted cap space as like WR5 on this roster -- especially when you add Hampton, Njoku and though he had a rough practice, even Kolar and Mitchell as other weapons

agree that it is time to move forward. last year it worked out, but this year our WR room is full. KLS and Tre Harris need more snaps this season.

To me it seems like Penning is on his way out and I think cutting him would save about 2.5 million against the cap too…

he played in the preseason game which means he’s not a made guy and in addition he played behind Awosika, Branson, Logan, Slaughter, Spommer, and Burke

the only guys lower on the depth chart are Harkey and Kaltenberger

Cutting him would save nothing as Pennings salary is guaranteed. Hence, if he is traded - cap would be saved

We won't. We were 26th in YAC last year. Those targets need to go back to Ladd who can convert Keenan's 7 yard gains into 20 yard gains on 3rd down. Tre Harris about to launch and needs playing time
