I wish him luck and a big season with the Broncos.

I can see why he has a grudge, and I can see why the Chargers moved on.

IMO Roger's is going to face plant in Pitt. Tomlin will keep it under control so they won't have a season like last year with the Jets, but the dude is done (and not a little weird) and needs to move on to the next phase of life . . . . . . .
I’m looking forward to seeing who Rogers trashes for his own failures this year. And to see if Mike Tomlin still has a job come January.

Part of it is they don't want to give any information out, but more of it is they are just very respectful of the game and all of the coaches and players that work in the game. The only coaches I ever hear Jim or Gro criticize are themselves and I never hear them criticize a player.

Joey Bosa was their favorite player, he's in Buffalo. Mack is also their favorite player, and he's here. Being a favorite player isn't 100% predictive is what I sense. maybe thats just me and I'm wrong, idunno. I doubt it - i'm almost never wrong

a picture doesn't mean much. I haven't seen any independent OTA/mini-camp journo-watcher mention Reagor's name in any of their "who stood out/what I saw today" stories, maybe I missed it. and maybe he will pop in a future story. I've seen Rice's name a couple times but I don't know its because he's better than Reagor or writers figure they'll get more clicks for a story with WR Rice in it.

He's in camp, he's got his chance. Competitors welcome, the WR is definitely elevated and I'm excited. can't wait for those fat rookies to get in shape enough to run some routes (no, I don't think its true - its just funny to me and I like a good joke!)
No big deal. The WR room is looking a lot better. I think we agree on that. Last year they were not a good group, so not a high bar to clear.
Training camp, preseason games will tell us a lot more. I'm anxious to see them. There'll be competition .

I’m curious to see how our transition to being a running to goes as another running team moves away from it.
Steelers are going to be more pass-heavy in 2025

Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has a reputation of being a bit more conservative, and that was backed up last year with Pittsburgh running the ball the fourth-most in 2024. However, that seems like it's going to change in 2025 to lean towards a more pass-heavy approach, especially after signing Aaron Rodgers and trading for DK Metcalf this offseason. On Wednesday, Smith said as much, telling reporters that "We didn't bring Aaron in here and sign DK for all that money to go run the wishbone."

Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins, fresh off signing a one-year deal Tuesday, said it was a "no-brainer'' to sign with Denver, a team he believes is poised to compete for a Super Bowl.

He's having some moments. I'm also interested in Rice and Grimm. I like the competition in the WR room.
It will help and encourage the depth to work their asses off in all respects.

I guess Mike Williams is a potential cut, but the whole point of brining him was having some vet depth, so getting rid of him right out of the gate doesn't make much sense in that light. At least one of the rookies is going to have to step up, and probably one of the other guys. We have a lot of pieces at WR, but given we will be playing quite a bit of 3WR sets, we are still going to need around 4 WR (3 guys who play and at least 1 backup). More would be better, even though we will be playing less 11 personnel than before. But you don't want to set the season up for failure by not having the personnel for various offensive packages, just because that is not the emphasis of the season. We still need WR depth. We lacked it last year and it did hurt.
Williams was never fast and has been getting slower. He didn't produce a lot of separation when he was drafted, and he produces less now. HOWEVER, he has quality hands and is one of the best jump ball, contested catch receivers in the NFL. Still. That alone puts him ahead of every receiver we have not named McConkey.

yeah but they showed up fat, bloated, and gasping for air after just walking to the practice field.
