I’m actually looking at moving on from Ingram or restructuring his contract also. He’s a $13M cap hit. Clowney would be fun for sure, but I’m against signing players to massive contracts because I think it crippled teams. Bosa is a favorite, no doubt, but his productivity is not double a player who will make half his salary. He’s going to get $20M a year. I’d rather have 2 DE’s at $10M and complete the roster than pay a single superstar big dollars.

same with Keenan Allen. Is he really worth the massive contract he’s going to ask for or can you get 2 Emmanuel Sander types instead who are more productive together then 1 KA13.

im going to do a Roster Economics piece in the near future to back this up haha

Disagree with you on the bosa deal. He is a team leader and the QB on defense. If he still does not want to sign a reasonable deal then maybe it is time to let him go. KA is good but not $17 mil good. He's in danger of pricing himself out of the nfl period if he thinks he's worth $17 mil.

To lock up your best guys, the all-pros, you need to give out a massive contract or two. You can’t sustain a team with all mid-level guys and letting all your bed guys walk. It’s bad for the locker room and bad for the fanbase.

If you have a quarterback he’s going to get one and then ideally you have a all-pro on defense or left tackle deserving of another.

It’s just a theory. I mean if you had to choose between:

Joey Bosa on one side and Isaac Rochell on the other

          or

Mario Addison on one side and maybe Brandon Graham or the other?

you can make a case for both sides. Is Bosa double the production that Addison and Graham are together? It’s a theory that I want to do more research on with different position groups

Bosa is one of the top DEs in the league and both your examples are over 30 so pass. Rather have Bosa.

I see your point but thats why you have to nail the draft
If you nail the draft you can have a super star lile bosa on one side and a young great passrusher on a rookie deal

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the NFL's "Management Council Executive Committee" has "unanimously" decided the draft will go forward as planned on April 23-25.

Been hearing that here in Vegas as well. Just won't be any people allowed to attend.

The NFL Draft is the only event I have for the next 2-3 months.
Please. Find a way to make it happen.

He's not wrong. Not being able to meet these kids face to face or have your Dr's check them out is a big deal. Especially for anyone coming off of an injury/surgery.

Elway hasn't been very good at drafting even when he does have medicals and interviews lol.
These players are over analylized, interviewed, the whole enchilada and GMs still draft busts.
