As much as I like those two...I don't think they are on our board....it's gonna be done Lynn's way, TT all but said that in his presser....he needed to get Lynn the pieces to succeed.

I am sure Fromm isn't athletic enough to be an rpo threat...actually, I really don't know about Eason, but there isn't production there to go off of.

I think it is Burrows, Herbert, or Hurts...maybe Tua, if you wanna take a risk, but I am not as high on him as others here. I think he is a great football player, but I think he already may have reached his ceiling.

Herbert looks like he can go higher but I’m with Duck fans in this, he ain’t gonna do much in the pros.

Hurts is the anti-Herbert, looks like he’s at his ceiling but I firmly do not believe it, he has a lot more ceiling to go IMO. You know who he reminds me of, different style but similar boat coming out? Brees. But without the throw-his-teammates-under-the-bus thing.

I'd be on board with Hurts - in round 2 or later.
None of the other QB's in this draft are worth us taking at 6. And no way on earth am I trading multiple picks to move up and take ANY QB in this draft.
We need impact players - TODAY! Lots of openings to fill.
If TT drafts well( fat chance, I know) and signs some solid FA's( fat chance, I know) with all the money available ( read : no more Mebane, Davis, Rivers, etc.), might even have a chance to win some ball games next year ( hell, winning 5 shouldn't be too difficult to repeat).

being a SD kid, I was watching some friends that were former rabid charger fans and now any-but-chargers raving lunatics that cheer each Sunday for (whoever) to beat the snot of of LAC get all excited and cheer about that opening game.

So he’s okay to be on the team and compete and learn and maybe grow into a long term starter if we pick him in the 3rd round, but not the 2nd. Either you think he can play at this level or you don’t, one round’s difference seems weird, cuz if you don’t then don’t pick him period and he’s a wasted pick in any round.
