They remember him as DC of the 0-16 Detroit Lions.

Barry fared somewhat better as DC of the Skins in 2015-16--made it to the playoffs one of those years...

I don’t expect this to happen, but look out for a potential unexpected early retirement of Andy Reid after the most recent tragedy involving his other son.
thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families primarily, just another avoidable drunk driving tragedy resulting in brain damage of a 5 y/o girl.
When Andy’s eldest son died in 2012, Andy responded with taking on a new job as KCs headcoach, so he strikes me as the kind of guy who uses work (perhaps food) to avoid real life circumstances, specifically, his children’s addictions to drugs and alcohol.
This time around, his wife and grandchildren (not sure if he has any) might need more of him, especially if his son sees any actual jail time.
No disrespect meant by bringing it back to football, but I can see how this event changes plans for big red in that win or lose, he might decide the timing, while unexpected, might be appropriate in that he can be there as a support for the family and also process the tragedies himself with a family therapist while leaving KC with his heir in Eric Bieniemy

It wouldn't surprise me...at times like this, need to stay close to family...

The SOFI complex will be the west coast HQ of the NFL. Offices, media studios, etc all in there.
