I really don’t want to leave this up to chance.
sure we could save tons waiting to see PS fall to 7,8 etc.
but 4 assures us PS.
and as much as I would like to THINK the Bengals go elsewhere, I’m willing to over pay perhaps to ensure PS is the guy.
and future picks might be more valuable this year without a combine because GMs might feel this draft is more of a crapshoot than years past and future drafts.

Sewell (A+++) - Little (A--) - Jenkins (B+) - Slater (B+) - Darrisaw (B+/B depending on his personal interviews).

Thanks -- pretty wide gap it seems between 1 and 2 ; not as much Little to Jenkins. I still am against trading up for Sewell -- still would stay at 13 and take the best CB - but I guess depends on how far, if he Sewell falls.

I bet Justin Herbert would be a LOT happier with an OT, than with a CB.

I think Jenkins is a RT and what we need is a LT. Herbert is right handed. Get this kid a good LT to go with the new iol and we'll have air Coryell again!

Protect the franchise! In for a Penei in for a full pound.

I've always had a thing against changing their positions from college to the pros. I do like Jenkins attitude though.

I'd rather see them take Walker Little, he's a true LOT. I know most people think Little is a 2nd or 3rd round guy but I see him as a guy that can play LOT and play it well.

Of course, I'm hoping for repeat of a great guy falling into our hands like happened when we landed James, but his time it's Sewell in my dreams.

There are 5 (possibly 6) OT's that would be worthy of the #13 in any other draft. I don't think we need to trade up. Will #13 be as good as Sewell...? Probably not. But will #13 be good enough to protect JH for years to come and put us into the playoffs. I'm pretty sure.

Keep the picks. Get a great LT with #13. Keep building. Build until your talent and depth make you better than the teams around you.

Although the tackle class is talented and deep, "He who hesitates is lost". If we don't snag them, others will. Lot's of OT hungry teams right behind us in this year's draft.
