and yes, hit the UDFA market hard
We were discussing IOL not including OTs.

someone else's cast-offs look better to you than our cast-offs?

Oh my mistake. We are on the same page though. I think 3 of the 9 picks should be OL of some sort.

We will draft at least 1 IOL plus UDFA
But, that's just my point - those guys couldn't beat out last years starters so I'm thinking I'd keep the guys that were starters a year ago and let Qberry, St. Louis, Hunter, and Gilliam go. It's not like Feeney and Lamb were going to be able to get some high salary.

Probably a $ / Cap hit issue as to why not resigned for depth.
I had high hopes for all 3 and thought Feeney would be a PB by now. I was excited with our 2017 draft. I missed on these prospects.

Yes that’s the point. I just wonder whether Feeney, Lamp and Tevi were offered anything by the Chargers? It may have been that they were fed up. I know Lamp was not a happy camper.

Let's put it this way...if Staley really liked any of the Turnstile Trio, he probably would have lobbied for one or more of them to be retained...they're now gone...'nuff said...

Thats my feeling about not only the turnstile Trio (actually if you include Turner - its a Quartet) - but also Rayshawn Jenkins, Ingram, Perryman and even Hayward.

Turner had so much hype when the news broke out he was coming over to the Bolts. I was one of those excited fans. Durable was one of the word used to describe him. Then the injury bug bit.

I think more than anything with the draft - will see the influence Staley will have with Telesco in building out the roster

So far so good with the players signed - meaning positions. Heavy on OLine, cheap but solid TE option and Special Teams with Fackrell and Smith
Just have to hope they are the right players.
