But all that spring in the buildup to the draft - was HOPING, that DeCastro would be there at the Chargers pick not even thinking Ingram would have been available. So at the time, I think I was good with Ingram but know would have been good with DeCastro.
The athleticism screams. We do not play modern football.

Also, at the time, conventional thinking was that you don't draft guards real high. That has changed quite a lot in recent years. And Melvin was considered a steal by many for the Chargers. He was a great pick.
DiCastro missed his entire rookie season due to injury but turned out to be a real stud interior lineman. Not sure how bad his ankle is. But our new assistant OL coach should have all the inside poop on whether it is worth a kick of the tires.

Steelers Oline will be younger.
IMV it will be fine.
Kendrick Green has a Dermontti Dawson vibe...great pick.
So...
Okorafor-Dotson-Green-Turner-Banner
with Finney, Moore, Haig et al as depth.
along with Freiermuth, blocking for Najee Harris.
This is going to work better and sooner than anyone thinks...ala Titans !We do not play modern football.
