The first win was basically the team carrying him, but he was a legit star by the second one.

I'm not saying he didn't have a great defense then, either, but he played at a level that he was a major reason why they won.

Which game did the refs gift it to the Steelers? I cant recall if that was 1 or 2, i do recall Ben played shitty in both SBs he “won”.

Wasnt really a fan in the 3rd. Low mileage. They may think they can get him passed that. Compliment what they have. Thought he would be a nice late round flyer to pair with Ek.

Someone is going to have to step up, that’s for sure. Jackson has no power and is hurt most of the time. Kelly was pretty unispiring last season. Nabors is an average FB. And Ekeler runs way bigger than he is and he is going to get dinged a lot unless he adjusts.

I don’t know how crazy Leveon Bell is these days but he sure would be a nice add.

I am really pulling for Jackson this year. I love his running style, he also has a good head on his shoulders off the field as well. If he can stay healthy (I think this is his year) he will put up great numbers, all he needs a small seam. This line at least on paper will open up many seams large and small.

I’ve been a JJacks proponent since his draft cycle. Think I had him mocked to us in the 5th. He is a dynamic back with elite vision, burst, and cutting ability. He was so durable at NW but just hasn’t been in his first 3 seasons as a Bolt. Here’s to seeing his talents for all 20 games this year.

The Oline personnel improvements help the RBs as much if not more than JH10.

I'm inclined to go to camp with what we have at RB. Ekeler is clearly a stud. JJ has skills, although he appears to be glass. Kelley, Rountree, Bradwell are solid maybes. The 4 backups need to separate themselves for better or worse in training camp & preseason. If no one in that group is able to impress Lombardi, Smith & Foster, then look at the FA RBs.
The Chargers need to develop their own as much as is possible.

Here’s hoping you are right friends. Ekeler goes down and I see a tremendous drop off from the rest of the RB squad. And Jackson actually looked good at times last season….he is just always hurt enough not to play.

That is why he's pissed at Reid. Unless he was coming back from an injury why keep him off the field? I think the perception is that Bell is a selfish player only looking for a big payout and therefore jumped on the chiefs bandwagon to get his next payday. We'll never know unless the Chargers staff interviews him to find out if he's truly a cancer or just a player with a chip on his shoulder.
