So much for football takes... next up, Australian Rules Rugby.

I furthermore think it is reasonable to have some questions about OBJ's performance outside of the situation in BAL, or at OLT.
      Excellent assessment.

Let's stick to facts and film study. Waiting for game film suggestions...
Again, I am talking about comparing the two players.

We don't have a lot of tape on Faalele + he is just starting to develop.

He would be drafted on power and potential.

It is a fact that you are being judgemental about a raw prospect, who thus far would be drafted one or two rounds after OBJ.

Let's not make such final calls on Daniel.

          and his subscription website
          trenchwarfare.substack.com.
He goes into detail like no one else about OL.
By April, there will be detailed reports on over 60 OL prospects in the 2021 Draft, including dense film study and top tier commentary.
This resource would only enhance your personal film study, of which you are so proud.

@ProFootballTalk With the minimum salary cap moving from $175 million to $180 million, the final number is expected to be in the range of $182-183 million. It most likely won't reach $185 million. https://wp.me/pbBqYq-bPRh

I think this is very good news for the Chargers. They are top 10 in cap space... have the ability to create more (Turner, long term deal for Williams - Henry and Hayward are tbd). But, the tougher it is for certain teams like the Steelers, Saints, Eagles, Bills , Rams and two teams from the division, the Raiders and Chiefs - the better. Even 5-7m would be a big deal for these teams.
There are free agents I am eyeing from all of these teams listed that they might not be able to bring back

Granted, I am still more for the "value" or the Schefter-bomb signings in free agency as it is. But the Chargers are in a good spot, can work it a bit more if need be but all in all - this should help them.

Rarely does Faalele leave his 2 by 2 yard box. I saw him give up as many pressures/sacks as times he got down field (half of those times ineffectively).
I watched the 2019 Purdue game to hear announcers rave about his NFL size literally 2 seconds after he whiffed on a block and fell flat on his face...

If there is an impressive game tape you have... please post.

You claim Slater is a guard... but he has impressive tape against a proven NFL pass rusher (Chase Young).

Depends on what you want from your OG. Inside zone would be his best fit IMO. If you want him to pull, he has limitations.

Two months ago I posted to beachcomber that I like AVT,
and as a tackle. I dismiss the Oregon game.

We are certainly talking about two different players AVT vs Faalele.

And two entirely different sets of circumstances.

I agree. I'm looking for an offense that can do multiple things well. And that requires offensive linemen that can do multiple things well.
I think that's what our offensive line lacks... multiple ability o-linemen.
I'd be happy with ATV @#13... should Slater be gone. I know Vikings @#14 would love to have ATV.
If Parsons were there... then we have a conundrum...
