When I read stuff like this, it sounds like maybe it was a discipline, non football playing reason that this guy was cut? Otherwise seems to make no sense.

Stefan Diggs ranked #11 best player in the NFL. Keenan Allen was at #55.

Not sure I agree with that.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

      - 69-74 record
      - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
      - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
      - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
      - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
      - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
      - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

People will pick Diggs 9 out 10 because of his top speed.

Would say it’s more bout what have you done lately. Change of scenery and pairing up with Josh Allen, both having career seasons does that.

That said, I absolutely love Keenan and he looks healthier this year than I’ve ever seen him. That combined with Herberts career season (so far) puts them both on a fast track to move up this “in the moment” list.

The Ravens also have a back up kicker that might be worth throwing a 2022 7th rounder at (The Chargers should have a couple extra comp picks - only reason I suggest that as an option). Granted the last time a team traded for a Ravens kicker they gave up a 5th and he was terrible.
I keep reading that - what/who are we getting all of these comps for? Lamp and Feeney? SupaMel?

I believe we'll also get a 6th rounder for Mr. Elite...

Its weird, people act like its Christmas with the comp picks. Wow 6th round picks and 7th round picks. TT can't even hit on his second round picks. We traditionally do better with UDFA than mid to late round picks.

And what if Feeney, Tevi and Perryman don’t make their teams?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Maybe we should get a comp pick if we sign Tevi back.

Probably lose that pick to another team but I don’t know.

Interesting comment so I looked it up. Urban Meyer is a real old school ass hole coach and I guess he wouldn’t put up with it. Things like keeping the OL on the field after practice and having them run wind sprints while the rest of the team goes to the locker room. OL running wind sprints in the Florida heat, Yeah, that’ll teach them.
