The key is to have stars but also get production out of your minimum salary guys.

      ie. draft well.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

So most of the Rams wins weren't when Woods was healthy or they signed OBJ ...and their offense wasn\'t struggling to score and move the ball in the SB once OBJ went down? And what about 3 straight 3 and out's in the 4th quarter of the SB?

Interesting move by the Saints. They made the trade a few weeks ago with the Eagles and gave up a first first; than this draft day trade to get Olave

It was a lot of draft capital for a non QB, Edge or LT - to me.

Its almost like the Saints are so far "invested" - Loomis is like "screw it, just keep going deeper and deeper"

And I know tehy were 9-8 last year without Brees and with Winston, Taysom etc - but I am not sure I give up a future first round pick with Winston as my QB. Its a bold strategy Cotton - see if it works

They were 5-2 last year before Winston tore his ACL. With Winston healthy and Michael Thomas finally back, I think I might pick them to win their division. They've beaten Tampa in all four regular season matchups and that Saints defense is loaded.

True - injuries did take a toll on that team towards the end. They had no chance against the Fish on that Monday night.

Interesting read on the Raven's war room process.
they liked Spiller and chose punter over speedy WR Austin

Thanks. The Ravens are wizards at drafting and it sounds like they would have taken Spiller, but we snatched him up !!!!

I've heard that the ravens first 4 picks had 1st round grades on them. The Ravens think all 4 are Game 1 starters. That is craziness !

Absolutely killed it. My only knock is that they don't have an adequate replacement for Hollywood
which perhaps speaks to what they think of Bateman.
the article mentions that part of why Hollywood left was because they don't throw it deep enough, and it looks like they're doubling down on that approach with all these TEs and RBs and Oline men.

edit: good luck to them finding roster spots for everyone. They should be one organization to look at after final cuts.

The Ravens have recievers I'd take Bateman, and they have Devin Duvernay who is ready. Could use another though.

the Ravens also had 6- 4th round picks close to each other so they had some meat picks in that area.
