On the lookout for a 245 lb punt returner right now.
I'll let you know what I find...
Anyone remember back in the day when the Rams started using Cullen Bryant, who I believe WAS a 245# LB on punt or kickoff returns?...man, once that dude got up a head of steam, he would just bowl guys over...it was kind of funny, actually...

Before I was a Chargers fan, I was a Rams fan (my conversion coming in 1975).
I remember Cullen Bryant. He was a RB (not a very good one). Mostly he carried Lawrence McCutcheon's equipment in after practice.
My first live football game was in 1975... Rams vs. Chargers. I went into the Murph as a Rams fan. But I left as a Chargers fan.
Cullen Bryant had 7 rushes for 44 yards that day.
Big Louie Kelcher had a hell of a game that day.
I never did understand why the fans booed him after every tackle he made...
Alas, I found no 245 lb punt returners.
But I did go back to the Derius Davis highlight reel I posted earlier...
and I did find a bunch of those 245 pound linebackers you were talking about... LOL!
Apparently, they don't do so well against the little guy...

I'd like to hear more if you get a chance to post the story.

Okay, thanks for that correction, Nut...so Bryant was a RB...looked it up--6-1, 234#...so a pretty big dude for a returner...regarding Louie Kelcher, I think the fans weren't booing him---they were probably shouting: "LOU-ie!"
