The Raiders were said to be VERY interested in Michael Penix. Pretty big shock when Atlanta took him 8th overall.

Denver had to take a QB, and took Bo Nix much earlier than anyone figured he'd go.

if they had traded back, the raiders might have taken him. to their credit, at least they did not do something totally crazy and trade up to get Bo Nix. look at all picks Minn gave up to get JJ Mc.

in today's NFL, who the heck knows which QB will be any good. if Bo Nix ends up being a top 12 or top 15 QB, the pick will be well worth it.

ATL was all over the place. it feels like they changed mgmt between the Cousins deal and the draft, except they didn't.

Worthy is not a Tyreek Clone! Hill is bulkier and runs good routes along with his top end speed and shiftiness. Worthy will not take the punishment well in the NFL.

TT got good value with Bowers. He's not a typical TE. He's a weapon

It’s a great pick. Most of our forum was drooling over getting Bowers at 5 a couple months ago.

I agree. Frankly, nobody is a Tyreek clone. He’s in an all time class of his own.

But Worthy is a speeding bullet. Going to be a nightmare in coverage with Mahomes throwing to him. The question is how good are his hands. If he’s got QJ hands of stone doesn’t matter how open he gets.
