I have looked at the numbers - I think the Chargers will need to move on from Mack or Allen to field a deeper better team while also building for the future. Telesco and Staley went for an inside straight this year - and it didn't work. Don't make the same mistake again. Build the damn thing right.

The Chargers can extends Mack or Allen but all that will do is increase the long term pain down the road. If they are willing to take contracts on a year to year basis - tahts fine. But if Khalil Mack wants a Von Miller contract - time to part ways

Herbert will be playing next season on his 5th year option. No need to restructure and we can't restructure his deal anyways. It wouldn't be helping.
