Seems like an odd hire. But I thought Staley was a bad hire on Sunday.


I don't see Wentz being traded to the Eagles. It doesn't make sense for team already over the cap to have to work EVEN harder to get under the cap if you trade Wentz. Wentz, unlike Brees, cannot be June 1 so the cap is not spread over two years. If he is traded - the Eagles take it all this year. So thats not happening. I just looked on Spotrac, if Wentz is traded, his dead cap figure is $44m. Not happening.

Can’t think of anything worse to do than watch a Lions game live in person. Well actually I guess there’s not much to do in Michigan so going to Ford Field for a game is probably one of the few non depressing things to do there.

I have a feeling this hire was more Chris Spielman than Brad Holmes. Spielman was that old school MLB from Massilon, on the Wheaties box to Ohio STate to Detroit. The prototypical rust belt blue collar LB. Campbell comes across like that with his goatee, he listens to Metallica and all that

Brad Holmes worked for the Rams a long time - with Les Snead and now McVay - my guess - Brad Holmes hires a guy more like STaley, younger, more innovative with todays times

It might work with Campbell but that macho testerone persona doesn't do anything for me. Can you coach or not?

Detroit needs all the help it can get from fans to anything. Hope he can get the coaching staff to help support his dreams...I think the whole point of it was to show some more tenacity and fight which they've been sorely lacking. Maybe they get all the wrestling fans to cheer them on! LOL!
