Waller is not a fair comparison, because he got paid after 1 good year, and didn't do anythign on his rookie deal. He is outplaying his contract, so it is not a fair market comparison.

Hopefully Hunter and the team make a good solid deal - reasonable.
There may be some good pre-FA signings to be had when everyone starts cutting to get under the cap.

Last year, only a couple of teams didn't have FA money. Now, 11 are over the cap, 2 more are effectively over the cap, and 2 more only have about enough to sign their draft choices. They will find ways to get under the cap and to sign draft choices, but they are going to have to scramble to do so.

wouldn't that possibly increase NE's interest ?
Whoever the new QB in NE is,
TE is QBs best friend.
Thuney will be very expensive.
It will be interesting how it all shakes out.
I see at least five mid round TEs for us in this draft, including both inline TEs to offset the loss of HH, and movement TEs that could be paired up with Virgil Green.
It should be a good year for bargain priced journeymen. We do not play modern football.
