Tyrod and Stick. That's it. If Tyrod shits the bed, or gets injured, Stick will either emerge as a winner, and maybe we have something...or he will also shit the bed, and where we will be picking next year, some rabid TLaw fans on here could get their wish!!
    Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

The one thing about Stick that I don’t quite know what to make of is Popper’s insistence that the team feel’s Stick isn’t ready. He wasn’t ready to play last year so they did not activate him and give him a few snaps late in the year when we were out of it. He also claims they are not comfortable with him as the backup and will pick up a veteran QB if we don’t draft someone, again because he “isn’t ready”. Either he is really slow picking up the offense, Popper is full of crap, or there is something else going on.

When he was drafted we were told that his football intelligence was a big plus. So what is actually going on here?

That IS kind of puzzling...after we were totally out of it, I thought Stick should have gotten at LEAST a few snaps...but no...wonder if Loyal Lynn didn't want to create a QB controversy with his Buffalo Buddy T-Mobile...

I am on-board with Justin Herbert at #6. And Ryan Leaf talked me into it.

              Ryan Leaf's TOP 5

              1. Joe Burrow
              2. Justin Herbert
              3. Jordan Love
              4. Jacob Eason
              5. Colt McDonald

He's stinks and is limited. He basically started all 4 years at North Dakota State....no reason to believe he'll suddenly flour after one more year.

                  We've had worse.
It's hard to say. Taylor isn't bulletproof but the backup Chargers QB hasn't seen the field much in more than a decade. The comfort level with Stick may be in the OK area, LAC may take QB at the top of the draft.
I'd guess, if it's FA vet, that move takes place after the draft.

What limited? I thought arm strength was his limitation... What else?

Thats my assessment. I don’t see him ever being at the level of backup - I don’t think he has the arm for NFL. He’s not up against the Northwest Idaho A&M Oily Spuds. He has a lot of believers here at TPB, maybe they are right. Doubt it, but I’ll watch ...
