I don't fault AJ for the Gaither signing...he fooled fans, coaches, and AJ alike...

AJ still blew it, for two reasons:

1. There were red flags about Gaither before we signed him
2. AJ inked him to a huge contract with a monster signing bonus, despite Gaither's poor and skimpy body of work

AJ failed to do his due diligence here...didn't do his job as GM...

How about trading up to draft Hester because he became so self-conceited that he thought he already had a great roster. Instead of adding two quality players he whiffed on an implausible tweener unable to do any particular NFL job. And then to pretend this was no mistake, he kept him on the roster year after year.

And hence the start of my hatred of tweeners so began ,.,
