Sounds like Rivers wanted to retire after 2020. If he had held on another year, they never would have traded for Wentz.

He might have come back to the Colts last year, but they only wanted him for 1 game while they were dealing with QB injuries and did not commit to him as a starter so he said no.

I thought he might have been a dark horse candidate for us given the Lombardi and Nugent connection. But he also reminds me of Bulaga with his age and injury history.
