I'm going to assume the reason it looked so much like Whiz's offense is because he was building off of Whiz's offense.

But if they come out and look like last season.... oof. Too much talent for the offense to sputter like that.

We need to be able to run the ball, but not when they expect it. Pass the ball, but not when they expect it. Throw jump balls to MWill but not throw jump balls to MWill. Dump offs, swings, and crossers...but can't rely on that stuff. Run it, but if you run it I swear it better be a reverse or something. And every play I don't understand is a run "up the gut".

Also, score more touchdowns.

Well the touch down play call is much more preferable than the fumble or lose a yard up the gut play call. I just don’t understand why they don’t call the touchdown play more often? It’s like they took that play out of the playbook.
