We don't know what the Chargers offered or if they offered it. Most of the stuff in the media comes from THE AGENT. And Brady's agent would rather say it came down to two offers of $30M and Tom picked the one he liked best vs "No one wanted to pay Brady except Tampa"..

I didn't want Brady. He would not thrive in the Charger offense behind the Charger line. He would suck. But I do worry about the ripple effect of having a mediocre QB. A lot of the offensive players here were happy because Rivers helped make them look good. Guys like Henry, Allen, Williams etc wont want to stick around and look crappy because of a crappy QB.

Other teams have done way better with statistically less QBs including SB wins. I loved Rivers time here but yes he did suck when it counted last season and yes we can do better. Other problems to fix, sure, like every team every year.

I agree. It was time. Rivers had a bad year last year. And he failed in two minute situations. That is the ONLY reason I wanted Brady - just to see how he would have handled those situations. Well ,maybe how accurate he was. But I just wanted to see how Tom Brady, who did it so often for the Pats - would do for the Chargers

And yes, loved Rivers - but it was time.

I also think it was time for him to go to a new team. New coaches. Play for home fans. Colts have a good OL - he deserves it and I hope they make the playoffs
