This is good for all. Chargers, Tom and Lynn now have to show what they can do with their QB Choice.

no more living under Rivers Borrowed time. They are now under a microscope and must perform for the fans.

At least Rivers found a great fit And should have a few more good years.

I think Rivers will have a good season. May get another out of the Colts in 2021.

Brady with the Patriots...anyone remember numerous times him dropping back to pass, having time, bouncing up and down on his toes while picking his receiver? Damn, imagine such protection if Rivers had that his last 2 years here. Even in 2018, Rivers never had that luxury, yet led the Chargers to a 12-4 record. How could anyone expect any better of Rivers the next season with a less than consistent O-Line? No wonder Rivers had to start making on field decisions on his own that didn't go so well. I'm not buying that at the start of the 2019 season that the O-line pieces were in place. They were, but not in a way other team's O-lines were, in that they were familiar with each other and maintained their health from previous years. The Chargers 2019 O-line was drawn on paper and dissolved into an unfortunate revolving door, due in part to injuries, but more than that.

Their was a stat last year chargers had 2nd worse OL and WR only had 2.4 yards on average separation, also 2nd worse. In Tampa WR had the most average yards open. I think this was an easy choice for Brady.

On Chargers, not sure why they even considered Brady after Beating their chests on Lynn and TAYlor, Stick to the plan, Draft a QB and spend the money all the holes they have.
