      Youre right about health issue.

But if a rental players can be added for a 6th and 7th
and the comp formula is players lost vs player gain. Lose these rentals and gain a comp back, possibly higher pick than 6th and 7th traded away. As high as bottom 3rd rd if your lucky

Offer a 6th or 7th to Bengals for Ross?
I know how the comp picks work and it also goes by contract. If he has another season where he misses half the games, his next contract .....he wont get offered much. If someone even offers him 3 million for 1 year like Verrett got, that MAY get us a 7th.....or likely nothing. To get a 3rd round comp pick the player signed away has to get one of the highest contracts.

Rivers getting 25 million may get us a 3rd for example but it was only for a year so we'll see. Ross getting 3 million may net you zip. Micheal Turner the year we lost him only got us i think a 5th,..may have been a 4th, dont recall.... and he signed a six-year contract believed to be worth $34.5 million, with approximately $15 million guaranteed. That was 2008 and was a pretty good contract.

So again....i have no doubt teams would want a speed WR but if he cant stay on the field, he can run a 4.1 and he wont help you much. John Ross is Buster Davis when it comes to being hurt.

Not advocating for Ross, but...."Loaded, good depth?” They don’t have one proven receiver after their two starters. While I like Cotton, he’s an undrafted free agent. If they can add a vet without impacting the pursuit of a bigger need (LT) they should definitely do it.

Chris Chambers and Keenan McCardell too.

            We need more Keenans.

6-3, 213 WR Jason Moore of Findley caught my attention last year. He's back. Small college player sort of reminds me of the kid from W Ore. Man among boys level college production.

Hard to duplicate from the UDFA ranks again but these 4 have at least some promising traits.

                  Jason Moore
                  Jalen Guyton

Yes, you can always have more Keenans

But I do like the idea of what Reed can bring - ability to run after catch. But first you have to catch the ball

Joe’s catch rate win % is not an issue. He will need to work on his route stems/tree as most rookie WR. Joe will break a ton of attempted DB tackles. The RAC will be fun to watch. He was one of my favorite prospects and couldn’t be happier that we selected him.

I like the roster overhaul except for of course, depth at LT. That remains to be seen what will happen though. I don't expect Peters to sign much before training camp at this point. As for the rest of the roster - I am still open to adding a defensive player: Golden, Logan Ryan. But I guess scheme is important too. One year deal. I don't just want a good to very good defense - I want very good to top 5 defense this coming year. So adding another player - maybe on the cheap if Peters falls through - makes sense to me.

Not looking too good in the power rankings . We are #21, last in the AFCW in CBS's and #24 in ESPN's.
