I'm just happy for the little guy. Seems like such a nice and humble kid. He is not very fast, but he gets a lot of positive yards and he can make people miss. And he runs with a lot of power because he is very heavy for someone that short. And he is not chubby like Tolbert; guy is ripped.

I thought Tolbert danced too much. I always wanted him to run more north and south...especially north.

Super stoked on Oliver. But also wanted to point out that Donald Brown was running pretty good before exiting the game. Looked like the boys up front really dominated, which is the only thing this offense was missing.

Very true. After watching that hit Brown took I very much enjoy watching Oliver stay low when he runs.

I was pissed off at the guys in the booth wondering out loud why that was unnecessary roughness. I mean, shit, this is precisely the type of play the rules are meant to protect against. One does not tackle by grabbing at a player's neck and ripping upwards. There should be a fine for that hit.

I know I said that Oliver was going to be a gem and even after one game he still has a lot to prove but honestly I would like to have Mathews in there as the starter and have Oliver be the backup and especially the 3rd down back. People say he's no Darren Sproles but he did put a couple of juke moves on the NY Jets defenders on the 3rd down pass play that went 50 yards.

Yeah, it's a really stupid set-up. I don't think the commissioner knew there was a loophole. I didn't even notice until last week when guys were picking up players mid-'game'. And only after I had lost out on several top-notch pickups, I decided to make sure I got Oliver. LOL

The Jets defense gave up? I wish someone would tell Philip Rivers that. He was hammered yesterday. I don't agree with the ESPN dudes.

Yeah, Rivers has taken some big hits the last two weeks. What was wrong with him on the play where he was slow getting up yesterday? Wind knocked out of him?

I read somewhere that's what happened on that play.
