Replaced a roach with a Cheney? Fucking lame, man. Raiders suck.

Roach hasn't played since the preseason due to that injury, but he had a key leadership role on the defense so they consider it a big loss. OAK does get back LB Sio Moore this week and possibly Carr if he continues to practice well this week. At least WR Streater won't be available--He's burned our D a few times in recent past….

As always, I'm worried about this game before it starts.

Hope the "new interim Head Coach" thing doesn't give them any juice. (Like it did for the Chiefs with Romeo Crennel) Sure that worked out in the long run, but remember when Crennel took over? The Chiefs played very well, like a different team for about 3 weeks. (enough for him to get the HC job for the next season).

How likely was last week's shutout and how likely is it vs. the 'duhs.

Through Week 5, we expected to see 0.95 shutouts—essentially what has actually happened so far. Since shutouts are such a rare occurrence, though, there was a 38.3% chance we would not see any through five weeks. All told, the NFL’s first shutout of 2014 came when we would expect it—and from a fairly likely game.

Looking forward, the shutout alert in Week 6 doesn’t come from the Jets, even though they are heavy underdogs against Peyton Manning’s Broncos. Rather, it comes from the Chargers once again. Facing off against the Raiders, there’s a 1.9% chance of San Diego blanking Oakland to make it back-to-back shutouts.
