I spent 5 years in Mexico watching the Chargers. The announcers were a zillion times better than they are here in the USA. And, when I was single, I enjoyed the Doble Fibra ads. It took me a while to figure out Doble Fibra had something to do with a cereal bar and didn't have anything to do with the jiggly boobs and butts that showed up for the commercials.

The Chargers were usually on regular TV - unless we happened to be playing at the same time as Dallas (Mexico's team). In that case, I went to the casino to watch.

In Mexico, we were, and probably still are, known as the Super Cargadores de San Diego. That's not really a good thing, because Cargadores sounds too much like the Mexican word for shitters.

Haha. Not 'til the end. We had some good moments despite Norv, and, for that, Mexico continued to put a lot of our games on air. We didn't cagamos ourselves 'til the Jests/Kaeding Part II horror movie.

The Rivers' years should be known as the Golden Age of Charger's Football.

Up, down, whatever, Rivers always gives us the chance to win.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Stan Humphries was fucking rad. One of my favorite athletes ever.

Stan had almost a linebackers mentality to the game. I'm going to take a lick, may as well take it like a man and make it count.,

Yea, and when Stan retired, he just quit. No stupid parades or mushy carrying on about himself, like he was something more than a football player. He was a throwback to the old days of manhood before Oprah and TMZ ruined us.
