So help me understand this. Are all teams allowed an alternate or throwback helmet this year? This is a misleading quote. lol

Sounds like all teams are allowed to have an alternate/throwback helmet. The deadline for informing the league was July 31, 2021. So not the Chargers this year, which is too bad, because that uni photo you posted looks awesome!

Only teams who submitted to the league on time what helmets they want to wear prior to this year.

I think the Cowboys have two alternate helmets from what I see.
