I’ve been wanting a modern LB for years in the draft. I think we finally got one. Can cover RBs and TEs, hits like s truck, sideline to sideline speed. If you consider Simmons a “defender”, this is the best LB in the draft. So I love it. I just didn’t see this coming. And we need LBs big time so its definitely a need, maybe even more than OLT.

But I would have preferred OLT.

I don't know who our left tackle will be but we got some excellent talent with our first two picks.

Im happy that the middle of this defense finally has a full time player. He is solid dropping back into zone. You dont move up into the first for a 2 down LB. They built that D in Seattle around Wagner. This is a really safe franchise LB type player for us. He is only 21. He has raised 3 special needs kids.

This kid could be a Walter Payton man of the year type player for us. On and off the field.

I feel like every season we get one of my draft crushes.

Honestly I do not think it cost that much.
If they were that high on Murray (I know, I am).
It was a solid trade for both sides IMO
