I like the players chosen, I really do. I think we added two true #1 picks. There’s a lot to be said for that.I love the final piece for the defense and accept the 50-50 chance we've taken to get a franchise QB.

But, I give this draft an F. Final grade. Before the last 4 players are chosen.

Its simple. As I have stated, no OLT in the first two picks gets you an F. So they earned it.

Be honest if TT actually wanted Herbert and didnt settle for him after the tunas took Tua then I give it an A.If it comes out that our GM really wanted another QB and took a consolation prize then a B.

Me too!!!If TT works some magic to grab Trent I would breath a huge sigh of relief and see this as an amazing offseason for TommyJohn.Then just go RB,WR,and depth the rest of the way.

A+ so far IMO

Justin Herbert, John Elway talent. Will be a huge success for the Chargers.

Kenneth Murray, looks a lot like Junior Seau talent, the knock on Seau was he had great instincts but would sometimes .make a mistake. Thankfully he had Rodney Herrison as his backup safety with the Chargers. Murray has Derwin James. Murray go get them, worry no more, James has your back.

If things work out, the Chargers could have just drafted an Elway and Seau talent in the same draft. Wow!!!

My grade so far: C+.

As I saw it, our biggest needs were LOT, RB1, and WR3. We failed to find one on day 1 or 2.

Kenneth Murray is a good late 1st round talent but isn't a blue chip top 10. Herbert has all the measurables to be elite but was just ok in the games I watched this year. Not sure how 'just ok' warranted the #6.

There is very little OT or RB talent still on the board. I don't expect us to find any day 3 help us at these positions.

We still may find help at WR3 given the depth of this draft.

We'll see how day 3 goes.

As in see what happens when you pick a PON instead of BPA at #6. Cost us draft capital that we could not afford.
Hopefully we can recover some of that cost in day 3.
