I forget what year, but it was a Playoff home game vs KC that we won. The stadium was absolute pandemonium.

LT breaking the record was great (really that entire regular season was great).

McCree's int fumble was brutal. So was Keading missing a FG vs the Jets in the playoffs. I was a few time zones away watching the game alone like at like 11 pm when we lost. Luckily I was meeting people afterward and drank my sorrows away.

GOOD (and it's not even close): "Stoyanovich never misses. Stoyanovich never misses. Stoya... HE MISSED! HE MISSED! HE MISSED!!!"

            Runners up:
            (1) Home playoff win against KC. Was my first ever playoff game. I was sitting in end zone seats and in the second half I saw the OL open a hole a mile wide and knew right away that if Butts just juked the safety as he ran towards me he'd have the TD. He juked the safety.
            (2) My then-gf's dad is a Redskins season ticket holder. I wasn't going to miss that game. When LT won it in OT, I think I was the second most hated man in the stadium.

            BAD:
If you mean worst loss, would have to be the home loss to Harbaugh's Colts in the playoffs.
If you mean most memorable loss, would have to be two:
            (1) The Dallas game after 9/11. Several of you were at that game, too. The game itself wasn't so memorable, but the entire trip was surreal, and standing in that stadium just before the game, during the national anthem, we weren't Cowboys fans or Chargers fans -- it was a sea of red, white, and blue in every direction as we all waved the little flags we were given at the gate. Very moving.
            (2) The London game. Yeah, we lost, but my two favorite teams (this was Brees leading the pre-bounty-scandal, post-Katrina Saints) brought the game to me in only my second year in London. It's as if the football gods were saying, "We know you sacrificed NFL Season Ticket and all those Chargers road games to come to London in pursuit of your dream, so we're throwing you a bone here." And we lost, but it was a hell of the game. Chargers made me proud, and it's still the best game, by far, the London series has seen.

The only reason I mentioned then Bad moments, Is because they still seem to be good memories to me. Good or Bad, All of them are so vivid & spent with great people.

Our buddy got kicked out of the Falcons game around 2 seasons ago ( this was before kick off), And then he got the brilliant idea to sneak back in !!! He went back to a different entrance & when they asked for his ticket, He Boooked it & ran through traffic !!! Somehow he made it past security & every other obstacle :-) Everything was going great, Except Ryan Mathews fumbled early & we were getting blown out in our House ! Then around the 3rd quarter, We see 2 cops comng up our isle :-) they go straight to him & put his arms behind his back (They simply said, We had a feelng you'd be back ) ....He would of gotten away with it all, If he didn't go back to his exact seat ! He forgot the Cops kept his ticket & would of checked back later ! Hahahahaha

He ended up in Charger prison & got taken to the local jail after the game :-) What happened after the game in jail...Well that's another story....Ryan Mathews may have been raped that game but he wasn't as lucky

My worst memorable game was my first. I had been to a UNM football game years before b ut I really didn't know what was going on and I couldn't even keep up with the ball. Fast forward to the time I was living in San Diego and the company I worked for Hurley Electronics (now defunct) bought a block of tickets to give away to their best customers and to the staff. That game was the Holy Roller. Been a diehard fan ever since!

Best memory, a Monday night game against the Donkeys where Charlie Joiner(or maybe Wes Chandler) was injured, got stitched up in the locker room and came back to help the team win. Or perhaps it was the empty five gallon water jug that was thrown at a bunch of obnoxious Denver fans who were sitting behind the Denver bench. Or, perhaps a second best was sitting in 100+ heat one afternoon watching our guys kill the Raiders. We had season tickets in a section where most of the seats were owned by a local bar and the refreshments were quite fluid. I remember the 50,000 strong chanting "Raiders Suck"' I'm sure the TV turned the sound off.

And lastly another worst was when my wife mistakenly threw out four tickets to a Seahawks-Charger game. We went to the stadium and I told the security people that I knew exactly where the seats were and we could wait until the game started and they could see the seats were empty.... but they didn't buy it:dunno: I remember Kellon Winslow broke his leg in that game that I watched from home (yeah, we're still married).
Thank God for morons. Without them who would the rest of us have to blame things on?

Best moments: Sproles TD against the Colts in the playoffs. I was there, instant euphoria
Tomlinson breaking the record, had a chance to go but I $tupidly declined. Still regret it
Michael Turner TD to beat the colts
Tomlinson OT TD vs the Raiders in 2002

Absolute Worst: Chargers vs Pats, 2007 playoff game - In some ways that game changed the way I watch the Chargers for the rest of my life. I don't think I visited any forums for months after that, and I don't think I'll ever be the same fan as I was before that game considering how much it crushed me. I was watching it with friends, and after the game I think I blacked out..and left without saying bye to anyone. I got a few phone calls after that just to make sure I was ok since I just disappeared and no one saw me leave. I've never done that before and probably won't do that ever again. Months (or maybe years) after that game I realized, it's just a game. I guess.

Best: Winslow/Fouts 5td's vs. Raiders, entire SD-Miami Playoff game, Stayonomiss/Dennis Gibson (#1), LT vs. Denver and Sproles vs. Manning's giant head face. Ton's more that I'm sure I missed.
Worst: McCree fumble and the aftermath. I don't give an F what anyone says, it was over if he doesn't fumble.

From November 22, 1981. Kellen Winslow of the San Diego Chargers catches a tying record 5 touchdown passes. He ties Bob Shaw of the Chicago Cardinals from ...

Good: Watching Louie Kelcher in his prime. I wasn't old enough to see Ernie Ladd and those guys play but I did see Kelcher, Johnson, Jones, and Dean together. I loved watching Kelcher. He was so powerful in his shedding of blocks and consuming ball carriers. Still recall him actually picking up Conrad Dobler (cheater and dirty OL player) and dropping him. Maybe my favorite play ever. Louie was sooooo country strong.

Bad: http://www.pro-football-reference.co...0501080sdg.htm I was at that game and it sucked on many levels. Level one - The Chargers fans around me were sitting down and not making noise when we were on defense. I mean everyone 50 feet around me in all directions was doing nothing the whole game but sitting in their seats picnicking. Embarrassing and frustrating. The girl (actually she was at least 16 years old) that went to the damn bathroom every fucking 7 and a half minutes of real time. I'm not kidding! And of course she ALWAYS had to come through me - while plays were going on - as I was always standing. Ridiculous. Then you have the game on the field. If I saw Olivea get one more holding call or miss one more block I was going to lose it! The interesting thing about Olivea was he would dance and dance in between possessions (before the game while warming up too). I mean dance to the Stadium music...whatever it was...and then play like shit for the game. That was maddening to watch. I'm sure Olivea is dancing his off for Aces Casino somewhere this moment. LOL Of course there was our running backs slipping all over the place while the Jets runners held up just fine all game...that was also maddening. The game was screwy and so were our fans.

Best was being at the stadium when the team came back from Pittsburgh on their way to the superbowl. Other bests I been to. Beating the Titans in the post season in 2007 post season. Beating a 10 or 11 win Saints team when we stank back in 91. Brees throwing 5 TD in a demolition of the Raiders in 2004. Super physical game against Cincy in 1994, the only game to be blacked out that season meaning I saw every game that wonderful season. Also a super physical victory over the Bengals LT's rookie year when he went for 3TD and the first LT chants broke out that sent us to 3-0. Oh and a Victory over first place Denver on our way to first place after starting 0-4 in 92 (special also because my Dad took 16 year old me simply because I asked nicely at church the morning of the game and he died the next year)

Worst was losing to the JETS Kaedings rookie year. I was convinced that team was special and on a worst to world champion run like the Rams had done. I was even more convinced when the roughing the passer penalty gave us new life and allowed us to tie it. I was barely nervous when Marty settled for the long FG in OT and could not believe he missed and then we lost. I was stunned and depressed. This was worse than the Patriots loss the 14-2 year for me because I kind of saw that coming even though I thought we were going to win and we played better than I thought we would.

AND FOR THE LOVE OF PETE MCCREES INT WOULD NOT HAVE CLINCHED VICTORY OVER NE. I knew it wouldn't the second he intercepted it, there was too much time left in a one possession game and Tom Brady. He should have got the most on the return that he could get. He should have tried to score. WHY OH WHY PETE?!?! WHY DO PEOPLE REMEBER THAT INCORRECTLY AS IF HE FALLS TO THE GROUND AND THE GAME IS OVER. THERE WOULD STILL HAVE BEEN OVER 6 MINUTES LEFT IN A ONE POSSESSION GAME EVEN IF MCCREE TOOK A KNEE!
