That’s a good question. Is there a place for a FB in Lombardi’s scheme? I like Nabors’s versatility.
    Plus he’s Herb’s roommate/brisket buddy.

Yep. I don't think the Bolts invested in both Kelley and Rountree to send either one to the PS. Someone has to go to the PS to make room for both, whether it's Stick, Nabors or someone else...

We’ll need a 4th guy to be available because of the high injury potential of Ekeler and Jackson. That’s the argument for keeping 4 RBs on the 53.

Id feel better with Stick on the PS than Kelley/Roundtree.
I think we will keep 4 RBs, 3 TEs, and Nabors at FB/HB/TE/ST.
Easton is a fairly safe bet not to get poached off the PS if they decide to go that way.
We could easily carry all if need be.
Norton, St. Louis, etc are also safe PS stashes on the OL.
Our offensive personnel distribution could end up…..
        QB = 3, RB = 4, FB = 1, TE = 3, WR = 6, OL = 8 for a total of 25.

Easton has to show a lot more in exhibition games before any team would even consider poaching him off the PS and putting him on their active roster.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

By the way, whether it’s a qb, rb or wr, some recent draftee(s) are going on the ps this year.

I agree with this^, with the exception that we carry 2 QBs, and Norton makes the 53.

I think it's up to Stick to show enough in the pre-season to make them want to keep 3 QBs. If he looks good they won't want to expose him to the practice squad. If he doesn't show much they'll let him go.

I think it's dangerous to only have two but we really haven't seen much of Stick. In the little I've seen of him I have wondered if he has the arm strength needed in the NFL but it's a very small sampling.

                  I concur.
Too small of a sample from 2 years ago. PS will be very telling.
The only thing C. Daniel has over stick is a familiarity with the passing game / offensive system. He is not much of a QB himself.

CD is more important for Herbert’s development than HS. Chargers are all in building around JH10. Hence, Stick lands on PS. If someone poaches him, best of luck to him.

                      LOL.
Should another team acquire Easton Stick...
not so sure I would describe it as "poaching."
We do not play modern football.

I think a move FB with mutliple skill sets has a place in the modern NFL.
