Everybody loves Mad Men, but having watched 4-5 episodes I am having a hard time getting into it. Does it get better or is it all just "hey look everyone is smoking and being a male chauvinist because it's a long time ago."

I get through Mad Men by imagining lining every character up against a wall and hosing them with a rotary gun.

Mad Men just seems like a gimmick with a TV show wrapped around it. It's set a long time ago and they show stuff like kids playing with plastic bags over their heads, riding around without seatbelts, and everyone smoking. I've tried watching twice, and it hasn't grabbed me either time.

Tattoos are the thing right now. Everyone and their grandma has one these days, so of course they have to create some shows about them. Hell, even Justin Bieber them, so that tells you how cool and edgy they are.

I watch all the tattoo shows. The competition series tattoo shows are the best. They really find people willing to put anything on their body
