Dyer died? Fuck. Wow. Two PBS giants now. Huell Howser was one of my favorite people ever. I have NO problem saying he was one of the sweetest people ever on planet earth. And he was gay but he was awesome in his interviews. Dammit. He died here in Palm Springs in January of 2013 (prostate cancer). Now Dyer!? Motherfucker.

I worked on a couple of Wes Craven's films. He was good guy. Very fair man to work for. Even back in my non union days.
He appreciated the crafts people that made his projects. Thats a rare thing.

One of my favorite tv shows as a youngin was Adam 12. I wonder if Kent McCord - his partner on that show - is still alive.

Btw, my neighbor died last week. His name was Bob. Really cool dude. He was 70-something. We talked alien stuff at times - but not lately. Bob also had ghosts in his apartment.

He's dodged death's door for quite a few years - he had AIDS since 1984 and also escaped a bout with pneumonia 2 and a half years ago (it's amazing he lived through it at his age and medical state) and was really looking weak the last couple years so I had mixed feelings when I found out he passed.

He had a chihuahua that must have been half pit or something like that because it was bigger than most chihuahuas and much more powerful...it also laid regular dog-sized turds. None of this petite pellet turd crap you get from most small dogs. ha

Fuck it, I miss you Bob. Happy trails. And please divert any aliens to people on this board - I'm sure they could use the excitement.
