    A couple of notable passings:

RIP Christine McVie, 79, Singer Songwriter for Fleetwood Mac, after an illness. So many songs to recount, fantastic musician. Everyone now hearing "Everywhere", but how much of "Rumours" was hers...

RIP Clarence Gilyard, 66, Actor (Top Gun, Die Hard, Matlock, Walker Texas Ranger), and Professor at UNLV.

70’s folk singer extrordinare Gordon Lightfoot has passed away at age 84. Prolific singer and songwriter whose songs were covered by many artists including Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Peter, Paul and Mary, and others. Tho others covered his songs, him singing them always sounded the best. RIP.

I wasn't much of a fan, but R.I.P Paul Reubens. A number of problems with the law involving porn really hurt his career, but he was able to bounce back. Cancer sucks, he was dealing with it for 7 yrs.

A local free magazine with a very picky, hard to please movie reviewer gave “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure” 5 stars.

Pee Wee in a dank dark noisy bar full of street toughs…using a pay phone off to the side to make an important call trying to find his stolen bike, yells out to them frustratedly (Pee -Wee voice)…”I’m trying to use the phone!” Hehe.
