NFL Network's Steve Wyche reports Chargers OL Forrest Lamp, who missed his entire rookie season with a torn ACL, underwent a "minor procedure" over the offseason, and has yet to resume working out.

Per coach Anthony Lynn, the No. 38 overall pick of last year's draft will supposedly be cleared soon. Another surgery is never good news but it is still possible Lamp will be ready for training camp. Provided he can get healthy, Lamp will be penciled into one of the Chargers' guard spots.

Any more info on the "minor procedure?" This actually doesn't even specify it was related to his previous ACL injury/surgery- or even the location on his body. For example, I had ACL reconstruction surgery in 2000, but a year later went back in to have the screw removed from my shin where they anchored the grafted tendon. It was in a spot where it was getting rubbed by my motorcycle boots and other situations that caused irritation- but had nothing to do with the success of the initial operation. Could be same thing for Lamp.
