I remember reading a comment from a former scout watching the line practice a day or so before Lamp got hurt and it was that Lamp was already the best lineman we had on the roster. If he is now back 100%, which it sounds like, I fully expect he is starting for us this year.

Right on fellas. I must have been misinformed. If he had trully won the starting gig i stand corrected. My point is that is just feels like the team is spinning a little damage control. I spend a ton of time promoting us on twitter. And fans have soured there. I have witnessed a lot of Lamp negativity. There is sort of a timeline where Lamp posts about fans turning against him...followed by a bunch of pro Lamp stuff put out by the team. Im not saying the staff isnt supporting him. Im saying it just feels like the team is trying to promote him in a positive light to us fans. Just felt like a media bias promotion sort of thing. All teams do it.
I have all along been a Lamp fan. And i expect him to play well for us as a starter. Ive been consistent on that. Im a pretty bust Charger fan trying to run this place and our twitter feed. And another forum. Constantly trying to keep us informed on the news. I forget stuff often.
I probably just forgot that he had won the job. My bad.

With our current Oline I keep going back to the capital, draft and FA $, that we have invested in over the past 3 years.
2 - PB caliber vet FA (LOT/OC) who were both 1st round draft picks.
1 - FA OG/OT, that started on a SB team, who was a 3rd round draft pick.
1 - High 2nd round draft pick (OG/OT).
1 - High 3rd round draft pick (OG).
1 - 3rd round pick (OT).
1 - 5th round pick (OC/OG).
1 - 6th round pick (OT).
That is quite a bit invested into our Oline.
We need good health, great chemistry, performance to equal talent, and continued continuity. My 2021 Adopt-A-Bolt List

The only question is a matter of making a full recovery.

Whats scary is Rivers is still behind the same line and more than likely be the weakest part of the team.
