If only we had spent draft capital in the past building and maintaining a quality OL pipeline, we could dream this big. Now is the time to build the foundation.

Build him an OL that can block rushers for more than 2.3 seconds and all of a sudden a lot of guys will be getting open.

I think this is reasonable because the Cowboys and Giants probably are not taking Slater. Granted, if the 49ers sign Trent Williams - they are not taking Slater either (most likely) with Trent and McGLinchey

Chargers might not have to do anything -- Slater might fall to them

I don't see Lamp, Tevi and Feeney, all three of them back - Chargers can do better

Realistically we wait a few days and our draft targets will be telegraphed. If TT signs an LOT we are probably going for one of the CBs, if we signs CBs we are probably aiming LOT. If we sign both we are probably trading down and grabbing IOL around the end of R1/top of R2 unless a WR falls.

My feelings as well. Free agency will dictate hierarchy of needs so picks can be more bpa focused. Otherwise Chargers hand maybe forced to select need over bpa. amd that to me is a compromise, TT should avoid and allow Staley access to implementing his new system quickly as possible.

It depends on what we do with Henry or if we get another TE to replace him first. If Pitts falls to us my initial thought is trade down for a hefty premium.
