What would make AVT a Fluker pick is that we overdraft an Olineman out of desperation,
when there is an opportunity to upgrade elsewhere sitting there.

It's like I need a flyswatter to deal with some of this shit.

Will be interesting to see what happens in free agency.
Who of our own get resigned. And which UFA do they sign.

Does the new o-line coach want them to go after Villanueva.
He has started 16 games each year for 5 straight seasons.
That durability and availability shouldn't be overlooked.

Feeney durability and availability shouldn't be overlooked either. 16 games for 3 straight seasons.

Has Lamp finally got past the injury bug. It's often said that its the year after you finally get healthy again that you start to really improve. Last year was like his 1st real season as a starter after a few redshirt injury years.

Tevi has started 44 of possible 49 starts over past 3 years.
Last year was his best year.

Do they think their own guys still have a lot of room to grow and improve.
        .
Supposedly the Chargers line was worst in league last year when you look at the pass and run block win rates. And other grades they were given.....yet Chargers had #6 pass game and Ekeler avg 4.6 per carry.

It hard for me to understand how the worst oline in league has Herbert and Ekeler doing good work behind them.

Whichever 5 starters is the o- line I'm hoping they stay durable and available all year.

Can the new director of sports performance help get and keep Bulaga healthy.

We will know a lot more about Telesco PONs come draft day after free agency is over. And who he re-signed of our own.

The new HC is a defensive guy.
Do they have a more defensive minded draft.
Who has it better than us?

I'm not going to put QBs in my list because we have a franchise QB. Since 4 or 5 QB will likely be drafted before Chargers 2nd pick #47.
I'm going to take some time and then put together a top 42. Instead of 32.
thinking if Chargers stay put and don't trade anything that they will grab 2 players of my top 42.

I am staying away from Villanueva - just for his age. I know OT is not like CB but I think the Chargers can use their cap wiser in free agency - even if a C or G

Feeney, Lamp and Tevi: I think the team brings back two of those players. Lamp intrigues me for the reasons you mention - he probably has the most growth after only playing really one year

One area I want Telesco to look to upgrade is special teams in free agency. Not just K or P, but a couple really solid veteran Special Teamers.

It should be a fun offseason as always - well hopefully its fun!

Has Lamp finally got past the injury bug. It's often said that its the year after you finally get healthy again that you start to really improve. Last year was like his 1st real season as a starter after a few redshirt injury years. True. Forrest was seen still flexing and favoring his knee in 2020. Get stronger and anchor better.

Tevi has started 44 of possible 49 starts over past 3 years.
Last year was his best year. A resounding probably yes.

Do they think their own guys still have a lot of room to grow and improve. Together ! Oline is a unit.

It hard for me to understand how the worst oline in league has Herbert and Ekeler doing good work behind them. It will all come together. wood has sneaked a peak at the master plan.

Whichever 5 starters is the o- line I'm hoping they stay durable and available all year. There does need to be an upgrade of some sort in talent level and availability.

Can the new director of sports performance help get and keep Bulaga healthy. Only if the staff chiropractor practices Santeria.

We will know a lot more about Telesco PONs come draft day after free agency is over. And who he re-signed of our own. Coupon god early and late, especially in this special, unprecedented off season.

Do they have a more defensive minded draft. Just a few select pieces to augment, fine tune what we already have.

Interesting: Who did we take in the first 3 rounds with Myers? and do we need another Ekeler talent in the backfield?

Couldn’t agree more. Villanueva was solid for years, but he looked awful in the games I watched. Let’s add a fresher iteration.
