McKitty is rated as a round 6-7 prospect and at a position at which we already have three players with one needing more time on the field. We could have drafted a blocking TE in the 6th or 7th round. Our current TEs have the pass catching covered. A huge reach and not at a position of need. Terrible. F grade.

Unless guys like McKitty or Palmer end up being core weapons in a few years, it’ll be major reaches

I thought Wyatt Davis would have been good instead of Palmer though

Maybe they turn into good players but I wanted players with higher floor lower ceiling - these two seem the opposite and they seem like they will need time

My analysis of the first three rounds/four picks is that they are making a major investment in Herbert, drafting a franchise LT in the first round and stacking the offense with weapons to best exploit Herbert's strengths.
