LOADS of guys look REALLY athletic and move REALLY smooth.
We should certainly be able to find a pass catching TE in the 4th or 5th that'll make contributions next year.

What about James Bradberry for a 3rd

One year left on his contract - easily can re-do the contract to lower the cap number this year

That will work. We need veteran CBs that understand what Staley is trying to do.
and help our Samuel and even Davis.

You West Coasters probably didn't get to see him much, but Coastal Carolina's Isaiah Likely would be a good addition. More of a poor man's Pitts, but he'd probably still be around in the 3rd.

            Just isn't Telesco's style though.

              Likely does look good.
No need to spend FA money on TE.

He needs that 3rd rounder to draft Trey Pipkins or Craig Mager

I get it. Just saying It's just not his style to give up a decent pic for a player He didn't draft on the last year of his deal.

He is a good player though. Idk. He won't get a starting CB in the 3rd round and maybe Bradberry isnt a fit?

They need to assess that and should.

                      Burks runs a 4.55 and then a 4.5

I didn't think he looked like a sub 4.4 guy on tape. Deebo ran a 4.48 on his fastest time so they are close.

Burks a little bigger at 225 lbs.

I don't know if Bradberry is a fit - but I see other CBs mentioned as FA targets and the Chargers can always extend his contract a couple years. He will be 29 when the season stars. But you get the CB instead of dealing with FA and you can control the cost a bit

                        JC Jackson
                        DJ Reed
                        Darious Williams

I am not saying its the right move but Telesco may need to "evolve" as a GM and take advantage of other ways to acquire players.

Staley mention how depth is needed.

Also talked about taking over a roster last year that was built for the 43 Gus system. And how the personnel wasn't exactly the best fit for his Defense.

Staley said for cornerback talent, "we value people who can play man to man"
