It's still early. As always, great ideas, passion Nutty. You are the extreme makeover guy of GMs. Lol.
I better listen to you with your scout's eye re EDGE, as well as OL.
Jacques Cousteau is flashing in BUF as a rook. wu is a fool for pass rushers.
I called for an extreme makeover with the OL last year. It had to be done. It worked... until injuries.
This year, it's the anemic offense. RT is a must. And I think another WR (not MW) is a must for a SB push.
They could draft a WR in the 1st... but I'm enamored with the proven commodity (Adams).
We have the money... that's a new thing... Paradigm shift.
Pass rush is a good thing. There's nothing foolish about it.
If we sign a CB via FA and draft a WR... so be it.

I am still clamoring for a deep, well rounded football team.
Every team is well coached, does deep film study, and will exploit to death our weaknesses.
Almost each opponent presents unique challenges.
Here's our chance to develop a solid depth chart.
Brugler says the Big Board is goofy this year, and he's right. We do not play modern football.

PFF ranks Darious Williams as the 22nd best FA in 2022. Estimates contract at $13.3M
22. CB DARIOUS WILLIAMS, LOS ANGELES RAMS
Darious Williams was the only restricted free agent to receive the first-round tender last offseason at a value of $4.766 million, signaling how much the Rams value his contributions. The move may also demonstrate their perception of how Williams is regarded league-wide if they thought a second-round tender would not have been enough to keep another club from signing him to an offer sheet. A very solid player opposite Jalen Ramsey, Williams has thrived in a heavy zone scheme but has physical limitations at just 5-foot-9. Nevertheless, opposing quarterbacks rarely fare well throwing into his coverage, and he deserves a payday.
Strengths:
-Ball Skills
-Quickness
-Ability to mirror and change of direction speed
Weaknesses:
-Size
-Protected role within Rams defense
-Run defense
Scheme Fit/Role:
NO. 2 CB: Dating back to college, Williams really doesn't have any bad tape to speak of. With the Rams, the only question is that Jalen Ramsey has enabled him to lead a sheltered life as a No. 2 corner that hasn't had the tough assignments that can cause problems to smaller corners. He is not scheme-specific and fits as a No. 2 in any defense.
Recent Injury History:
Williams suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 that landed him on IR.
Contract Projection: Three years, $40M ($13.33M per year, $22.5 million total guaranteed)
Bottom Line:
Darious Williams has elite quickness, movement skills and the ability to find and break up the football once it's in the air. He can play equally well in man or zone coverage but has always been protected by his role within the Rams defense. Our quarterback is a golden god.

Thanks BDude-good takes.
Vance Joseph, doing great things as Cardinals DC, says it takes three years to really settle in with a defensive system.
Some of our young players are finally starting to flash, as they get a better grip on Staley's concepts.
I am willing to bet that our ideas about PON and roster building will change.
A young emerging player does not need to be replaced.
I am really looking forward to a deeper roster with fewer weaknesses. We do not play modern football.
