I have been critical of Nasir's performance. His athleticism is starting to meet up with playmaking. As Staley just said, all we need is more consistency.

We have discussed whether or not to retain Uchenna. Staley is saying here's a player perfect for our scheme.

I don't want to speak so much in boring platitudes, BDude, but must ask, are we early on in a great transformation? Some many teams never get over the hump. They just keep picking in the twenties and playing tougher schedules.

We will have 24 UFAs in 2022.
TT’s pockets are bulging.

Some decisions will be made over the next 5 games. Others will be made in the playoffs, should we get there.
And still more after that.

2022 will be the toughest, most critical off-season of TT’s career. If he nails it, we are contenders for the next 4. If he doesn’t, ghosts will loom. They’ll haunt us.

I believe in Staley, and we are studded with gems, including the crown jewel in JH10. We need solid grit around them to make them shine even brighter. Coach will hand pick his defense, probably through FA. Telesco will keep loading the offensive armory through the draft.

Thought about that. Many of my guys may not be there, particularly JJIII, Charbonnet, and Mitchell in rounds 2-4. We may have to use some draft capital to slide up a few spots here and there.

Build some depth and fortify ST's.
Those xtra 6's and 7 won't allow you to move up much in the earlier rounds anyways.

No they can maybe get you up in the 4th,. 5th for sure.

If they use them right they can use them to move up just not in the early rounds.

If we keep all 11 picks, I’d imagine a handful go straight to the PS. I’d like to see anyone try to build our 53 man roster with 11 rooks.

I’d have no problem trading picks for 2023 higher round picks. Fitting 11 draft picks on a team seems difficult to me.

So NFL.com rates Corey as the 5th best FA signing for 2021. No sacks and only 7 pressures in some 550 snaps. Raiders were on there with Ngakoue and Hunter Henry was the 10th best signee. I'll take that stabilizing force. Good job TT.

Pretty much any team who’s in “cap hell” or about to be can use draft picks to offset veteran pay offs and/or cuts.

If next year is a “push” year to advance in the playoffs, having 11 draftees on the roster does not help things.
