taking a quick peek @Travis Jones.... measurables are admirable, he's long & strong, and can knife thru the LOS.... he's got leadership qualities, and has got down to 13 percent body fat, which suggests he has a strong mindset.... he also owned a first round ranking @the outset of the draft process, and...

gotta say the cautionary tales don't add up to what we saw @the SB, as he left defenders in cement boots w/his lateral agility on the line.

the sentiment is that he could well last 'til 79.... his SB performance would suggest he's easily a first round talent ??

still leaning Zion, and.... if our staff took him @17, gotta admit would be a bit wary of our talent eval.... ??
LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry

I would really like to see us trade down in the draft. If we’re shrewd, and aren’t afraid to drop back more than once, I think we can convert #17 into something like three 2nd round and two 6th round picks. Add a bunch of depth at better value.

If not willing to trade down, I’d like either Zion Johnson or Kenyon Green over Penning.

        April 2.0

        Chargers 2022 7-Round

Chargers have a hole on the roster at RG and RT. That is addressed, along with the defensive line, then the skill positions, before looking for special teams core players. Velus is ranked in the Top 10 of return specialist w/ 4.32 speed.

takin' a look Kyle Hamilton.... a TEraser, man skills, sure tackler/impressive tackle radius, Isaiah Simmons 2.0, w/Denzel Perryman wheels.... ??

speaking for myself the question is whether the Legion of Boom guarantees a bump in the win column, and whether a Weddlesque talent @safety takes us any further than Eric did ??

am not sure am so excited to add a Kam Chancellor Jr. to our defensive backfield, and no matter that he was a Notre Dame team captain.... don't think I'd draft him over anyone in my cluster:

Garrett Wilson, Zion Johnson, Jermaine Johnson, Jameson Williams, Derek Stingley
LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry

Popper just mocked Olave to the Chargers #17, maybe you should include him in your cluster?

watched a really entertaining mock last night on the way home from work. They had Chargers moving up with Ravens, for a 4th rounder (not sure that’s enough) to grab OT Penning.

Olave would also make sense but just because Popper mocked him don't mean anything more than anybody else. Telesco or Staley aren't telling him anything either.

Olave will be as nice player: i don't see him as a star in this league.

If you absolutely want speed at receiver, get some guy in the 3rd round

Just listened to Matt "money" Smith saying that teams are drooling over Jameson Williams,
and that he has no shot at making it to #17.

His speed and acceleration are on a different level type talk.

Olave ran a 4.39,....that's plenty fast to go with his route running which is pretty good.
