In June 2015, Stephen transferred closer to home at Northwestern State. As a graduate student in sports administration, he was immediately eligible, but lost his starting job in September. He gained his job back midway through the season, and completed 79.7 percent of his passes for 788 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in his final four games.

Still I would love to see a shift in the D, to better accommodate the players we have and to minimize the gapping by the DL, just not working as well as, well, anyone thinks.

then let's give up the pretense and start drafting players that excel in the 4-3 instead of always taking flyers on marginal 4-3 DEs to try to convert to 3-4 OLB pass rushers to make our D work (it hasn't). Draft a couple more thumpers like Perryman, shove our big body DLs inside and get a couple DEs who can get after the QB and hold people accountable for missed assignments by benching or cutting them.Life is too short to drink cheap beer

A well-coached Dline scheme and B:
Players who can execute it correctly?
Yeah I get 1 gap can be wildly successful, but those players would make our scheme look at minimum pretty good. I still think we have guys who just don't get it like they should, AND just aren't as good as we think they should be.
New coach, some new players, fingers crossed on health.
