I was just going to say....he could end up being a target at #3 for a team wanting to get ahead of Dallas for him. Top 10 has never really been a question for me in regards to Elliot. But would the Eagles move up from 8 for him?

Im also not ruling out Dallas moving up 1 spot with us if they are dead set on Jack or Ramsey. Cowboys/Chargers may both be targeting the same player. Id take a 3rd from Dallas to drop back 1 spot.

Ian Seau had goosebumps as he entered Charger Park on Thursday as one of 14 prospects participating in San Diego’s Local Pro Day.
Almost 10 years had passed since he last stepped foot on the premises when he attended his uncle Junior’s famous 2006 press conference.
“The last time I came here was for my uncle’s graduation,” he said right after finishing his workout. “That was the last time I was at this facility. When I came (for that) is when I started to understand how much my uncle meant to this place.”
While that day was all about Junior, Thursday was all about Ian.
A talented prospect who is looking for a chance to make his own mark, he knows he will never escape his iconic last name. In fact, he embraces the fact he is a Seau, and hopes to add to the legacy.
“(Junior) accomplished so much, and no matter what I do, I am going to have to live up to his legacy,” Ian said. “People are always going to make a comparison. But personally, I think I’m pretty good at football. I’m obviously not as good as him, but I feel I can be a really good player. And if I do that, it would make me feel pretty good to prove I did something besides just have my uncle’s last name.”
The younger Seau transferred to Nevada as a sophomore and left ranked eighth all-time in sacks. He finished with 105 tackles, 34.0 tackles for loss, 18.5 sacks, nine passes defensed and eight forced fumbles over three seasons. The outside linebacker was a first-team All-Mountain West selection last year when he posted 43 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and five forced fumbles.
Working out alongside 13 other local products, Seau was pleased with how he performed.
“The feedback was pretty good,” he said. “Obviously I have to improve a lot, but they were all very encouraging. Hopefully I showed them enough. To work out today on this field meant everything to me. Even if they said I was only here because of my last name, which I know isn’t the case, but if it was, just to be on the same field as my uncle meant a lot. I feel I’m building on the legacy he built and following it. I’m obviously trying to make him proud.”
The past few months have been a whirlwind for Seau, and he is eager to learn where he’ll land.
“Wherever I go people ask about my uncle, which is fine. I tell them my uncle was a top five pick, and I know where I am. I’m probably a fifth, sixth or seventh round pick, or maybe even undrafted. There isn’t much hype around me right now, but it is what it is. I’m confident in myself. As a player, I’m a guy who likes to get after it and compete. I love when there is a guy across from me who says he is good and thinks he is going to beat me because I am going to go out there to beat him. I’m a competitor, and just love to play hard and run to the ball.”
Happy to play for any team, Seau doesn’t hide how one team in particular would mean the most.
“Obviously if I happened to be able to play for the San Diego Chargers, that would be something else,” he said. “My uncle built (a legacy) here, and to have another Seau around this place would be special.”

I am rooting for Ian! I hope we do draft him.

Larry Tunsil may turn out to be a great one...but history has shown that most decent-to-great college olineman have seemingly a steep learning curve before turning into great pros and are not going to be just plug-and-play types. That's also if they transition well...but guys likes Robert Gallery, Eric Fisher, and Greg Robinson have shown despite being great college players doesn't mean that they transition well in the NFL. I could very much be reading it wrong but with what the Chargers have already currently invested in the online...Tunsil is probably below Ramsey and Jack in their cluster listing for pick #3. I still believe the Chargers are in fact going to bolster their online somewhere in the draft...just later in the draft. I also really believe the Chargers are targeting the two most athletically gifted defense players for their 3rd pick (Ramsey or Jack.)

If the Chargers have Myles Jack in their top three cluster for the 3rd pick and he can be had at #4...and 1) Dallas is hell bent on getting Ramsey & 2) Chargers don't see Jack as that much off a drop off...maybe there is a deal to be had. I think after the two Qbs go (if Cleveland doesn't throw a curveball and does in fact select a Qb...all bets are off if the Browns select Ramsey or Jack...because unless the chargers are wowed then I believe Ramsey/Jack will likely be the pick...sorry Dallas & Jacksonville.)

Yeah im not as high on Tunsil as everyone else. I do think Ramsey is probably the most valuable player at 3 in a trade target for some team.

Gotta trade now. Ideally to 6-7. They will still have a top 5 talent on the board and they can use pretty much all of them.

The price to move up has been set and it's high. If someone wants to throw in next year's #1 for our pick plus something high this year, I'd have to look hard at it. Because if they pick Paxton, they'll probably have a bad year and send us a top 5 pick next year.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

More easily said than done. I have always contended that finding a suitable trade partner - willing to offer enough to make a trade worthwhile - is not as easy as some here seem to think.

Tunsil is the #1 talent in about 90% of "experts" boards. it's a position of need for the Bolts. I just can't see the Bolts not taking him if they pick at 3. The bonus - they get to lock him up for a 5th year for relatively cheap. That's a plus.

Pick 2 - Kelly at C? A one year rebuild of the OL? Wow.

This has definitely destroyed my mock.

It's much higher from 15 down to 1 than say 7-8 to 3. I'd love the picks, I've been screaming trade down for a while but now that we may bag a LT who was the consensus #1 pick until this morning, I've tempered my trade scenario. Other than a Franchise QB a Franchise LT for a Hall of Fame QB is gold dust in a holy grail

I dont know that teams actually believe Tunsil is the consensus #1 pick though. Thats what we need to find out. Because he is far from perfect. Has had some off feild stuff from what ive heard and is an unknown in the run game. I just think for what we want to do its nice to have a LT that can maul in the run game. Id be fine with him though.

As far as trade value goes i wouldnt be surprised if teams wanted to move up for Ramsey/Jack over Tunsil. If anyone is even targeting those guys.

There isn't a perfect prospect in any draft. I get the apprehension, I'm a charger fan...haha.
