You guys raved so much about Washinton that I just spent about three hours looking at his games. I still think I'm right that he doesn't get a lot of separation, but now, I don't think it matters much. He just reaches up with those extra large meat hooks of his and plucks the ball out of the air. And, I love his blocking. After today's second look at him, I'd be happy if they took him.

Kinkaid is big enough and quick enough to learn to block. Very often guys that "can't block" simply aren't motivated to do it. Parham couldn't run block much either but he is pretty decent at it now.

Im a Ute fan. I live 15 minutes from Rice Eccles stadium I don't want Kincaid. He is more of a product of the system the Utes run.

That's what I saw. No one is outreaching him. If J Herbo realizes how big Darnell's sweet spot is, he's open every down if he's one on one with a D.

Glad you're getting on the Washington train, 'Roo. Mike W. has made a ridiculous number of catches in which he had no 'separation' at all.

If you're significantly bigger, taller and stronger than the guy covering you, you'll just overwhelm him, as if you're competing against a 5th grader.

I see that same capacity with Washington. There are plenty of times where he's covered, but can still make the catch. Separation matters less with him.
