But we probably would have to move up substantially in the 3rd to get one.
Depth is a backup and you are talking about depth.
Our first rounder won't.neccrssarily start. They will play, possibly be rotated in often but we aren't weak at any spots that 21 will start immediately.

Maybe a CB at nickel if we draft one at 21,.....maybe. TT says JC is progressing well & they are hopeful he is ready for TC. If that happens, Asante can play the slot.

The unknown is in this forum. They have a better grasp on things.

Bijan would start if we drafted him and I'd assume Ek would be traded on draft day.

Perhaps a WR in the slot or outside as Keenan plays slot often . But maybe not, Palmer has been pretty decent.

There aren't many starter openings on this team and a TE would get plenty of playing time to learn from Everett and take over in 2024.

But hey, I'm also all for going after Bowers in 2024, trading up if necessary.

I wasn't at all expecting Zion Johnson to be our pick last year. I was quite surprised. It makes me wonder what Telesco might do in this draft.

Emmanuel Forbes or another corner in Round 1?

In my opinion, separation is king in the wide receiver world. That makes this man my favorite WR in the draft. Can’t stop him with your jock wrapped around your ankles.

        8. Tank Dell, WR, Houston

Like Kancey on defense, there are a number of offensive players who fall outside the typical height/weight benchmarks: Dell (5-8, 165), Kansas State RB Deuce Vaughn (5-5, 179), even Young. That teams seem more willing to jump at the skill-position outliers is evidence of how NFL offenses have evolved. Dell’s footwork helps him create incredible releases off the line, and he’s a threat to go the distance whenever he touches the ball.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

He's flying under the radar here, even thought Wudai has bet his reputation on Telesco selecting him.

I wouldn't sleep on him. I always look at whether a personality fits Telesco's locker room atmosphere mania.

Now a 6-4, 215-pound junior at TCU, Johnston is growing comfortable in the limelight. Or at least more comfortable. He’d still rather work on his V6 Charger than talk about himself or his accomplishments. Ask Johnston about his exploits and he’ll talk about his teammates. Ask him about his numbers and he’ll discuss the new offense or the improved play of quarterback Max Duggan.

We might draft two TE--and zero RBs. Daniel Jeremiah has as many as 10 TEs in his Top 100 overall, a rarity.

There will be value. There will be people who can block in Moore's designed plays for Ek, Kelley, Spiller, UFA/UDFA and who can also catch the football.

                    Feisty as all hell.
Surprisingly beats press coverage consistently by juking.
                    There is separation.
